Dear Patients, We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

To respect this “new normal” as we begin to provide care for the dental community, please see the changes below:

  • Hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office
  • Air purifiers, a touchless forehead thermometer, front desk barriers in addition to other personal protection equipment
  • Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, a coffee bar, etc. since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect
  • Appointments that accommodate social distancing between patients; that might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointments

TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • You will receive a telephone call the day before your appointment for a brief health screening
  • Arrive 20 minutes prior to your appointment and remain in your car until we call you to come in for a written health screening
  • Enter the office with a mask
  • Once you’ve been screened, you will be instructed to wait in your car until we call you again to be seen by the staff Enter the office with only “essential companions” to respect social distancing

Please be patient with us as we are learning what works moving forward. We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you safe. To make an appointment, please call us at (773) 763-7434 or visit our website at www.SmilesOnElston.com . We miss you and can’t wait to see you again!
